Barbara Katz provided fantastic catering services for my daughter's July 9th, 2011 wedding at 550 Trackside in Lawrenceville, GA. The food was fantastic and the supplies we rented from her were of top quality. Service was professional and we received many compliments from our guests. As Lindsay and I were planning this wedding from 3,000 miles away, we found Barbara to be extremely flexible in the planning process. Most of the decisions were made on line or over the phone and when we were finally able to meet in person with Barbara just 6 short weeks before our event, we found her to be prepared and eager to work with us. We would whole heartedly recommend A Dish in a Dash.

A Dish in a Dash Catering was very professional. Barbara (the owner) made the whole experience seamless, we had a tight time line in which to plan our event and she made it easy for us. I absolutely felt that she accommodated our schedules doing tastings later in the evening and helping to guide us through the decision making process. Barbara and Dish in a Dash catered our Saturday evening B'not Mitzvah at Temple Sinai. As a first-time Mitzvah parent, it helped me that Barbara listened to my ideas, but also shared her experience about what would work best. As the hostess, I never ate one bite of food, but many guests complimented the quality and variety of the dinner. In addition, Barbara handled the decor for all the serving tables, with themed linens and accompaniments. She was lovely to deal with, as were the staff who worked the event. As a bonus, Dish in a Dash participated in our donation system to be sure the leftovers would get to homeless-serving agencies asap.

20th Anniversary Celebration
"A Dish in a Dash" is the best! They made our wedding day truly memorable. The food was wonderful, and there was plenty of it to go around - everyone commented on the variety and the rich flavors of the dishes! Our personal favorites were the Spinach Dip and the Pulled Pork - so delicious! The staff was pleasant and professional, willing to help with anything and they even cut and served the cake. They were present enough to get things people needed and bus trash while staying totally out of the way of the wedding reception. Barbara runs a tight ship, and her communication during the planning leading up to the wedding left us feeling at ease and assured that everything would be ready to go when we walked into the hall after our beautiful ceremony. We would use "A Dish in a Dash" again, and plan to recommend them to all of our family and friends!

Both my daughter and I are so glad we chose A DISH IN A DASH to provide the catering for her wedding. After interviewing and having taste-tests with several caterers, the wonderful staff at ADIAD scheduled the tasting and initial conssultation to fit our busy schedules. Right from the start, we were impressed with their creativity, the delicious food, and their flexibility to help us choose the best possible menu to fit our limited budget. They provided excellent service throughout the months prior to the wedding. We were amazed at how accessible Ilene and Barbara were - they were always available to answer phone calls and emails and accomodate changes as needed. During wedding week, which was made more hectic by several last minute add-ons for guests, Barbara responded to each of my phone calls with workable solutions, and kept assuring me it would all work out just fine. She was right! The best 'feedback' of all came from the many guests who commented on the wonderful food and beautiful presentation. The servers were each a delight to work with, and I found the entire staff totally flexible and more than willing to do anything needed to serve our guests in a special way. Barbara was even available to answer questions in some areas where I had chosen to provide services myself rather than hiring an outside provider. I would highly recommend A DISH IN A DASH for any catering function! Barbara, many thanks to you and your excellent staff for helping to make Catie and Gustavo's wedding everything we had hoped!

I was planning my wedding reception and found Dish in a Dash and was delighted with their quick response and helpful advice. I met with Jennifer who was very helpful and we tasted a few choices from the menu. Their menu covers everything you would need and requests are no problem. We covered everything from chair covers to plates, to napkin colors to silverware and table cloths. I felt very comfortable with all the arrangements and they showed up actually early for the event which helps a nervous bride. Everyone was very nice and helpful and my guests enjoyed the food very much. The presentation was wonderful and prices were very reasonable. I'm so glad I found A Dish in a Dash to cater for my occasion.

We are very pleased with how everything turned out for the party. The guests all seemed to have a great time and loved the food. The rental supply delivery was right on time as was the pick up. Karen and Larry were wonderful. They were fun and friendly and kept everything looking great and everyone taken care of. You all got here right on time and had everything set up and ready to go by 6:30. It looked beautiful, and as I already said, the food was phenomenal. The quantity was perfect for the number of guests that we had, with some leftovers but not too many. The menu that you suggested was perfect. Everyone raved about the food and how great it all looked as well as tasted. It was great working with both of you, Barbara and Jennifer. You listened to everything that I wanted and kept the budget in mind as well when planning the event. My husband was thrilled with the entire party. I also appreciated that you put together some small trays of food for the guests inside before leaving. That was a very nice touch.
